The eZ Track’N RF Tag Locator and Tracking Device is a portable, battery operated, hand held tracker with a directionally sensitive antenna. It can assist with locating and finding Wander Control Systems Series 3 RF tags (radio frequency tags) used with the Platinum 3 and the eZ product line.

Helps Locate People

If a resident wanders away from his or her normal supervised area while wearing a Series 3 RF wrist or ankle tag, the eZ Track’N will help to locate that specific tag signal and assist with determining the distance and direction to continue the search. The eZ Track’N antenna has an effective range of over a mile in an open outside area. This effective range will decrease depending on obstructions and other types of interference (sometimes significantly in an urban area or inside buildings).

Helps Locate Lost RF Tags

The eZ Track’N is invaluable for locating missing, hidden, or lost RF tags that are not being worn by a resident but are causing a door alarm condition.

Operating Modes

eZ Track’N has two modes of operation.

1. 1) Specific Search mode allows the eZ Track’N to search for only one RF tag. By entering the RF tag ID bit of the resident or lost RF tag you want to find, the eZ Track’N should detect ONLY the signal of that specific RF tag.


2. 2) General Search mode allows the eZ Track’N to detect the signal of all RF tags in a given area. In this mode, the tracker should display a sequence of all the ID bits transmitting a signal in the area

Practice Using eZ Track’N

Searching for RF tags is fairly simple after becoming familiar with the eZ Track’N. You can practice using the eZ Track’N by playing a fun yet educational game of high tech Hide & Seek. This practice may count as continuing education for personnel.
