The Platinum 3 Series High-Traffic Door Controller from Wander Control Systems is a simple to operate Lock down Unit, trouble free with a LCD display which shows the time, door status, RF Tag identification number detected, and other important data in an easy concise manner. Platinum 3 can be used in conjunction with electromagnetic door locks (known as Maglocks), with motorized automatic doors, and with elevators for additional security. Platinum #3 is also the same size as our Sentry Low-Traffic Door Controller.
Platinum 3 has two operating modes. The controller can be programmed to change from one mode to the other at specific times or can be programmed to stay in the mode as long as is desired for your security needs.
Wander Mode– If the door is opened while in Wander Mode with a person wearing a wrist or ankle wander tag. The controller will activate an audible alarm to notify personnel of the potential problem. Wander Mode is normally used during the high-traffic time periods of a normal work day. If no tag is present, the door functions normally with no alarm notification.
Perimeter Mode-If the door is opened while in Perimeter Mode, the controller will activate an audible alarm to notify personnel of the security breach. Perimeter Mode is often used overnight after normal visiting hours or at exits that need more stringent security.
An escort code can be entered either on the built-in keypad of the controller or on additional remote keypads installed on the opposing side of the doorway. The escort code disables the door controller alarm for a short period of time to allow authorized entering, and exiting with no alarm sound or notification. Platinum 3 is shipped from the factory with security features set to ‘STANDARD’ which allows only employee access and control. The system can be set to ‘ENHANCED’ which allows employee plus limited friends & family access and control.
An optional nurse station or security station panel is available which will sound an audible alarm and display a visual alert when a door is in alarm condition. However, an authorized staff member must visually inspect the monitored area and turn off the alarm at the door controller. Platinum 3 can be integrated with most pagers, nurse call systems, and many data reporting systems for more sophisticated applications.

The Sentry Low-Traffic Door Controller from Wander Control Systems is a simple to operate Lock down Unit, trouble free with a LCD display which shows the time, door status, and other important data in an easy concise manner. Sentry is a lower cost controller option for your secure areas, trusted vendor entrances, employee only doors, and emergency/fire exit doors. The Sentry Controller can be used in conjunction with electromagnetic door locks (known as Maglocks) for additional security.
Sentry is only Perimeter Mode- If the door is opened while the system is armed, the controller will activate an audible alarm to notify personnel of the security breach. The Sentry can be easily programmed to turn “ON” active status and “OF” active status automatically at the same times each day, or it can be put into active status or removed from active status by an authorized employee.
